About Us

Pierce Land & Bison was started by the Pierce family in 2018 in Deer Trail, Colorado, turning a dream into reality. What began as raw land became a nurturing pasture for 14 pregnant cows and one bull. Over time, several more buffalo were brought in, and today the ranch is home to more than 130 head of buffalo and counting. Our goal is to provide clean, healthy meat raised with integrity, purpose, and respect for both the animals and the land, while ensuring the Buffalo are given the highest quality of life they deserve. With plenty of grass to graze, hay to eat, and over 1,400 acres to roam, the herd is able to live naturally and thrive. We are proud to raise our Buffalo naturally, without the use of antibiotics or hormones.
